Dr. Gail Stocks is an occupational therapist, accessibility specialist, and educator dedicated to helping people of all ages live safely and independently.
She is the founder and principal of EZ Way To Stay in Montclair, NJ, and was recognized as the NAHB Educator of the Year.
With a Post-Professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Touro University and a Master’s degree from NYU, Gail brings decades of expertise to her work. She serves as an adjunct professor and guest lecturer in occupational therapy programs at multiple universities, and she has extensive experience working with clients across the lifespan.
Gail is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) through the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and an approved instructor for NAHB’s CAPS and Universal Design Essentials courses. She also earned an Executive Certificate in Home Modification from the University of Southern California Leonard Davis School of Gerontology.
Gail contributes her expertise beyond her professional practice as well. She is the volunteer logistics coordinator for Rebuilding Together North Jersey, and she serves as Lead NJ Presenter for AARP HomeFit and as a member of AARP’s Speakers Bureau.
