Seniors Helping Seniors Napa Valley

Napa Valley, California

Seniors Helping Seniors® Wine Country provides non-medical in-home care services for older adults in the Napa and Sonoma regions of California, including communities such as Napa, Yountville, St. Helena, Sonoma, Petaluma, Santa Rosa, Vallejo, and American Canyon.

What sets them apart is their signature caregiving model: their caregivers are active, compassionate mature adults, many of them seniors themselves, who are carefully screened, background-checked, and personally matched with each client based on shared interests, personality, and lifestyle.

This peer-to-peer approach fosters genuine friendship alongside practical support.

Their services cover a wide range of daily living needs, including personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming), companionship and socialization, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, transportation to appointments and errands, respite care for family caregivers, and safety and fall prevention.

They also offer veteran services, long-distance check-ins, pet care, and light handyman tasks, making them a comprehensive resource for aging in place.

Operated by Katie Holman O’Neill and Sean O’Neill, whose personal experiences navigating senior care within their own families shaped their vision for the business.

They offer flexible, no long-term-contract arrangements and begin with an in-home consultation to create a customized care plan. Their goal is to help seniors maintain independence, dignity, and joy in their own homes for as long as possible.

Training and Education

Note: Seniors Helping Seniors® Wine Country provides non-medical companion and personal care services. Their caregivers are not specifically credentialed in aging-in-place specializations such as CAPS or SRES. If your situation involves home modification planning, complex care coordination, or specialized aging-in-place assessment, we recommend partnering their services with a qualified aging-in-place professional.
